4. Press <Esc> until you return to the
Internetworking Configu-
ration
menu and save your changes.
5. Select the
Reinitialize System
command from the
Internet-
working Configuration
to bring the configuration changes
into effect.
6. Load CALLMGR.NLM.
7. Establish the loopback connection.
7a. Press <Ins> and select the
LOOP
entry from the list.
Press <Enter> to establish the connection.
The connection is displayed as follows:
For an AVM ISDN-Controller T1, loopback configuration is similar.
You have to select ISDN-PRI instead of ISDN-BRI as a wide area
medium, of course.

The IPXPING utility enables you to check connectivity to an IPX
server on your internetwork.
Using the IPXPING Utility
IPXPING determines the reachability of the IPX server or workstation
- the target node - to which it sends the request packet. After the node
receives the packet, it sends an IPXPING reply packet to the system
that sent the request packet.
