General ISDN-Controller Parameters

The mechanisms used to identify ISDN numbers are somewhat differ-
ent for DDI numbers, MSNs and EAZs. If you select the protocol Point-
to-Point 1TR6 or Point-to-Point DSS1, then the workstations in the LAN
must use CAPI applications that support DDI numbers.
All protocols support both terrestrial and GSM connections.
4. If your ISDN line is a PBX extension, press “Enter” and select “En-
abled”.
5. Enter the outside dialing prefix required by your PBX (if “Connected to a
PBX” is “Enabled”).
6. Enter the minimum number of digits of a number for which the outside
dialing prefix should be added automatically.
7. Confirm your entries by pressing “Enter”. The “List of ISDN-Controllers
to Load” is in the foreground once again.
8. To configure another ISDN-Controller, press the “Ins” key and repeat
steps 1–7.
9. Close the ISDN-Controller configuration dialog by pressing “Esc” and
proceed to configure the “Global Parameters”.
General ISDN-Controller Parameters
For the “International Dialing Prefix”, enter the prefix dialed before the coun-
try code when making an international call. In most European countries, this
is “00”.
