Setting up an ISDN-Controller
To configure an ISDN-Controller, proceed as follows:
One ISDN-Controller is already shown in the list with default configuration
parameters. To configure an ISDN-Controller, select it in the list and press
“Enter”.
1. Press “Enter” and select the I/O address corresponding to the jumper
setting or the PCI address of your ISDN-Controller.
Make sure no other driver (such as CAPI20.NLM) or application is ac-
tive for this Controller!
2. If you are using an ISA-Controller, press “Enter” and select an available
interrupt level.
3. Press “Enter” to change the D-channel protocol.
DSS1: internationally standardized D-channel protocol (formerly called
E-DSS1 or Euro-D).
1TR6: German national D-channel protocol.
1TR6 for PRI: national D-channel protocol for use with AVM ISDN-Con-
trollers T1 and T1-B.
DSS1 for PRI: international ISDN D-channel protocol for the AVM ISDN-
Controllers T1 and T1-B.
Point-to-Point 1TR6: German national D-channel protocol for an AVM
ISDN-Controller B1 on a point-to-point line.
Point-to-Point DSS1: international D-channel protocol for an AVM ISDN-
Controller B1 on a point-to-point line.
