COSO: Charge One Site Only
When this option is activated, one site, either the server or the client, is
charged for all physical connections. The following configuration example
shows the settings for assigning all charges to the server. To assign charges
to the client, “local” and “remote” must be exchanged.
COSO is activated for the entire RNSI, not for specific ISDN-Controllers.
NetWAYS/ISDN Client Configuration for COSO in the Call destination Settings
l "Number" Page:
– Remote Access Server = AVM NetWare Connect for ISDN
l "Costs" Page:
– Assign charges to = Remote system
– Call-back request = None
l Static IP address if necessary in the network neighborhood (dynamic
address assignment is not permitted)
l Static IPX address (dynamic address assignment is not permitted with
NetWAYS/ISDN)
Server COSO Configuration
l Activate COSO for RNSI to assign charges to the server:
load nwccon
Configure Services
RNSI
General Parameters
COSO = Local
l Enter all clients in the static RNSI client list:
load nwccon
Configure Services
RNSI
Static RNSI Clients
Enter here the user name, number, CLI (D-channel caller ID), and the IPX ad-
dress (and IP address if necessary) for each client.
Clients not entered or incorrectly configured here will not be able to connect
reliably!
