First, check which functions are supported by your client software. Both
ends of the connection must support recall requests or COSO in order for
you to use these capabilities. All current Windows versions of
NetWAYS/ISDN support both of these functions.
Recall Request
When the recall request is activated, the client’s ISDN line is charged only for
the initial call to the LAN. All subsequent physical connections are charged
to the server until the logical connection is terminated.

– Remote Access Server = AVM NetWare Connect for ISDN
l "Costs" Page:
– Assign charges to = Caller
– Call-back request = Negotiate automatically request charge assign-
ment to remote site
Recommended Configuration Options for Recall Request
The following additional parameters should be configured in order to limit
the client’s charges to one charge unit per logical connection, while ensuring
that the server only accumulates charges for connections to authorized cli-
ents:
