4 Configuration
This chapter describes the configuration of NetWare Connect for ISDN NIAS
Edition 2.1, which is the version installed on all NetWare 5 servers and on
other NetWare servers with NIAS 4.1.
The configuration procedures for NetWare Connect for ISDN 2.0 are basically
the same as those described below for NetWare Connect for ISDN NIAS Edi-
tion 2.1. For the exact descriptions of the menus and dialogs involved, how-
ever, please see the Chapter 5, Configuring NetWare Connect for ISDN
Services, and Chapter 8, Configuring ISDN-Controllers in the NetWare
Connect for ISDN 2.0 Installation and Administration Guide. The NetWare
Connect for ISDN 2.0 Installation and Administration Guide is included with
NetWare Connect for ISDN.
The server module NWCCON is used to configure NetWare Connect for ISDN.
This module is started by entering load nwccon at the server console.
The Remote Access Options menu contains the following items:
Some of these options are used in configuring NetWare Connect for ISDN,
and are described in this manual. Other options in this module are used for
NIAS configuration. For details please see the NetWare documentation.
Please note that changes in the configuration take effect only after you have
restarted NetWare Connect for ISDN. To activate the configuration changes,
stop and restart NetWare Connect for ISDN by entering the commands
nwcstop and nwcstart at the server console.
