Removing NetWare Connect for ISDN
28 Netware Connect for ISDN – 3 Installation in NetWare Without NIAS and With NIAS Version 4.0 or Earlier
To remove NetWare Connect for ISDN 2.0, proceed as follows:
1. If NetWare Connect for ISDN 2.0 is active, enter the following command
at the system console:
nwcstop
2. Next, unload the driver AIO.NLM by entering the following command at
the system console:
unload aio
3. Start the installation menu by entering the following command at the
system console:
load install
The Novell NetWare server’s installation program is loaded and the
menu “Installation Options” appears.
4. Depending on the NetWare version installed, the menu “Other Installa-
tion Actions” may appear. If so, then select the item “View/Config-
ure/Remove Installed Products” and press “Enter”.
A list of all currently installed products appears.
5. Select the entry “Connect v2.0.50 NetWare Connect for ISDN 2.0” and
press the “Del” key.
6. You are prompted to confirm that you want to remove NetWare Connect
for ISDN 2.0. Select “Yes”.
7. In NetWare 4.x, an NDS administrator login is now required. Enter the
Administrator name and password. Select the command “Perform Log-
in and Continue” and confirm the entries by pressing “Enter”.
NetWare Connect for ISDN 2.0 is now removed from your server.
8. Acknowledge the message that NetWare Connect for ISDN 2.0 was suc-
cessfully removed by pressing “Esc” or “Enter”.
Close the Novell NetWare server’s installation program and switch to the sys-
tem console.
This completes the removal of NetWare Connect for ISDN 2.0.
