26 Netware Connect for ISDN 3 Installation in NetWare Without NIAS and With NIAS Version 4.0 or Earlier
3.3 Automatic Configuration
1. At the system console, start the configuration module by entering:
load nwccon
2. On NetWare 4.x servers you are prompted to specify the Connect
Rights Level. Enter the user name and password of the Administrator
(Admin) or a user with equivalent rights. Confirm by pressing Enter.
Connect Rights Level refers to a container in the NDS. All users in this
container and its subcontainers can access NetWare Connect for ISDN
without additional configuration or granting user rights. By default this
is the servers root. This means that all users entered in the NDS have
access to NetWare Connect for ISDN.
For detailed information on granting user rights, see the document TID
1005092, available from Novell’s Web site at http://www.novell.com.
3. The message Welcome to NIAS Remote Access is displayed and the
prompt Do you want instructions? appears. Select No and confirm
by pressing Enter twice.
4. Depending on the NetWare version installed, you may now see the
message There are no AIO ports defined. NIAS Remote Access will
help you load the appropriate AIO driver(s). Confirm by pressing on
Enter.
5. Acknowledge the information window that follows by pressing Enter
again.
6. The next dialog asks, Do you have additional licenses to add? Answer
No and press Enter.
7. A message now informs you that no AIO ports are defined. Press En-
ter.
8. Under What kind of serial adapter do you have installed?, select the
AVM ISDN-Controller in the list.
9. Acknowledge the message The requested driver was loaded success-
fully by pressing Enter.
10. Next you are asked, Do you need more AIO drivers? Choose No.
11. To the question Keep current modem settings, answer Yes.
The following dialog prompts you: Now select the services you want to
