Removing NetWare Connect for ISDN

A complete description of the RNSI configuration is found in this manu-
al in Chapter 4, “Configuration”, Section 4.2, and in the “NetWare Con-
nect for ISDN 2.0 Installation and Administration Guide”, Chapter 5,
“Configuring RNSI”.
13. Close the configuration with “Exit” and confirm once again by selecting
“Yes”.
14. Answer “Yes” to the question “Do you want to start this service now?”
Exit the configuration program and switch to the system console.
This completes the installation and configuration of NetWare Connect for
ISDN NIAS Edition 2.1. The software is now active.
2.4 Removing NetWare Connect for ISDN
The Novell NetWare server’s installation menu is also used to remove
NetWare Connect for ISDN NIAS Edition 2.1 from the server. In the de-instal-
lation process, all the components installed and configuration parameters
entered during the NetWare Connect for ISDN NIAS Edition 2.1 installation
procedure are deleted.
To remove NetWare Connect for ISDN NIAS Edition 2.1, proceed as follows:
1. If NetWare Connect for ISDN NIAS Edition 2.1 is active, enter the follow-
ing command at the system console:
nwcstop
2. Next, unload the driver AIO.NLM by entering the following command at
the system console:
unload aio
3. If you are working with a NetWare 5 server, start the installation menu
by entering the following command at the system console:
nwconfig
For all other NetWare versions with NIAS 4.1, enter the following com-
mand at the system console:
load install
The Novell NetWare server’s installation program is loaded and the
menu “Installation Options” or “Configuration Options” appears.
4. Select the item “Product Options” in this menu. The menu “Other In-
stallation Actions” appears.
