1 Introduction
English
This manual describes installation and operation of the
AVM Mobile ISDN-Controller M2 for the DOS, Windows 3.x,
Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows NT operating
systems. Application examples for the various platforms
are described in detail in the on-line Help.
1.3 Features and Technical Specifications of
the AVM Mobile ISDN-Controller M2
• PCMCIA adapter (Type II) to connect the PC to ISDN or
to a GSM mobile phone
• IMS T400 high-performance CPU (multitasking RISC
transputer) with 20 MIPS; 1 MB of RAM
• Supports file transfer, client/server applications,
terminal emulation, host or file server access and
telefax
• Works with Card and Socket Services for PCMCIA,
Version 2.01 and later
• Common ISDN API Version 2.0 as standard software
interface, with support for CAPI 1.1 applications
• Communications software FRITZ!, FRITZ!GSM and
AVM ISDN-Tools included
• Numerous CAPI 2.0 applications available
