5 Troubelshooting – Windows 3.x
Program to large for available memory
or
Insufficient memory
This error message appears if your computer has
insufficient DOS memory available. To free DOS memory,
you may choose to load the AVM Mobile ISDN-Controller
M2 without using Card and Socket Services. If you do,
note the configuration restrictions in the appropriate
section of Chapter 3, “Driver Software Installation”:
Section 3.1.2 (DOS) or 3.2.2 (Windows 3.x).
5.3.2 Error Messages in Windows 3.x
Controller xx with I/O address <xxx> not found.
Possible cause: You tried to initialize the AVM Mobile
ISDN-Controller M2 without Card and Socket Services,
and in the configuration program M2 Setup you entered
an I/O address other than 150. Please note that the AVM
Mobile ISDN-Controller M2 is configured only to I/O
address 150.
Remedy: Run the program M2 Setup and set the I/O
address to 150. Then restart your computer and Win-
dows.
Installation Error. Interrupt <xx> not available.
Possible cause: The selected interrupt is not available.
Remedy: Run the program M2 Setup and set the
interrupt to a different value. Then restart your computer
and Windows.
Installation error. Internal error: ISDN driver not loaded.
Possible cause: The driver file m2base.386 has deleted,
or the system.ini file no longer contains the corresponding
entry.
Remedy: Run the installation program setup.exe from
your CD-ROM.
