The ISDN PBX must not alter this coding.
You are unable to connect to a fax machine at an ISDN PBX
extension.
The PBX at the remote site is probably not correctly
configured for Group 3 fax service. Contact the
administrator of the remote PBX system.
GSM: You are unable to receive incoming calls.
In certain GSM networks you must apply for separate fax
and data numbers in order to receive incoming fax and
data calls.
Your computer doesn’t answer incoming fax calls.
Check whether your fax software automatically activates
a server module. This is a program that registers with
CAPI 2.0 so that your computer reacts to incoming fax
calls. Some fax programs, such as FRITZ!fax, can be
configured to start the fax server module automatically.
Loading DOS and Windows drivers simultaneously
DOS and Windows drivers may not be loaded
simultaneously. Load either the DOS driver or the Win-
dows driver, not both, to use your AVM Mobile ISDN-
Controller M2. Note that the Windows drivers also
support DOS-based CAPI applications running within
Windows!
The “New Hardware Found” message does not appear on
installation in Windows 95/98.
If the “New Hardware Found” message does not appear
when you first install the Mobile ISDN-Controller M2 in
Windows 95/98, this probably means that support for PC
Cards (PCMCIA) is not activated in the Windows Control
Panel. Activate this feature, then insert the Controller in
the PCMCIA slot again.
In certain cases the cause may also be incomplete
removal of an earlier Mobile ISDN-Controller installation
on your computer.
