5 Troubleshooting
• Is your fax or data application software compatible
with CAPI 2.0?
Conventional modem applications will not support the
AVM Mobile ISDN-Controller M2 directly. A Fossil
driver is necessary to interpret the program’s modem
commands.
Your mobile phone dials, but does not connect.
• If your GSM mobile phone dials the desired number
normally (as shown in its LCD display) and then
displays the message “Network disconnect”, then the
problem is probably in the GSM network. Wait a while
and then repeat the attempt. If this problem persists,
contact your GSM operator.
• If you are a D1 subscriber, verify that fax and data
services are enabled.
• Make sure you have entered the correct number for
the site you want to call.
You are unable to connect to ISDN data terminals at PBX
extensions.
The PBX at the remote site has not been correctly
configured for the terminal equipment in use. Contact the
administrator of the site you are trying to call.

ISDN calls are recognized as follows:
