3 Driver Software Installation – Windows NT

3.4.6 Uninstalling the Driver Software
To remove the Mobile ISDN-Controller from the Windows
98 system, open the Control Panel and double-click on
the Add/Remove Programs applet. Select the entry
“AVM Mobile ISDN-Controller M2” in the list of installed
software, and click on the Add/Remove button. The
“Uninstall” program is started. Follow the instructions
displayed.
3.5 Installation in Windows NT
Specially developed driver software is supplied with the
AVM Mobile ISDN-Controller M2 for use in Microsoft
Windows NT 3.51 and 4.0 (Server and Workstation). This
true 32-bit driver provides full support for all features of
Microsoft Windows NT.
3.5.1 Installing the Driver Software
To install the ISDN-Controller software in Windows NT,
proceed as follows:
1. Insert the AVM Mobile ISDN-Controller M2 in
your computer’s PCMCIA slot and restart Windows
NT.
2. Insert the “AVM Mobile ISDN-Controller M1/M2” CD-
ROM in your CD-ROM drive.
3. Start the CD introduction by doubleclicking on the
file INTRO in the root directory of the CD-ROM.
4. Click on Installation English and in the next window
on AVM Mobile ISDN-Controller M1/M2.
5. In the next window choose the controller M2 by
clicking on the symbol. Then select the operating
system Windows NT.
