3 Driver Software Installation – Windows 95
Browse to the path where the installation files are
found:
<CD DRIVE>\CARDWARE\M2\WINDOWS.95
\ENGLISH
Click on OK to close the “Browse” dialog, then to
confirm the path and start the installation.
6. The installation files are copied to a temporary
folder.
7. The Setup program’s sign-on window appears. If you
want to read the Readme file with the latest
information on the Controller and the installation
procedure, click on View AVM readme now.
To proceed with the installation, click on Continue.
You can abort the installation at any time by clicking
on the Cancel button.
8. In the next dialog you select the controller you want
to install. The Mobile ISDN-Controller M2 is
selected by default. Click on Continue.
9. Specify the folder in which you want the software to
be installed. The default suggestion is C:\IDRIVER,
but you can change this to any other path you wish.
When your entry is complete, click on Continue.
10. Next, select the GSM mobile telephone model you
want to use with the Controller, and click on Continue.
11. In the next dialog, select the D channel protocol used
on your ISDN line. The protocol you select here will
be the one activated by default when the Controller
is loaded automatically.
If you intend to operate the AVM Mobile ISDN-
Controller M2 on your fixed ISDN line first, select
“DSS1” or “1TR6” (see Section 1.2).
If you want to use the Controller with your GSM
mobile phone, select the option “GSM”.
