6 Possible Errors and Remedies – Windows 95/98

Problem: The diagnostics program M1 Test does not run in
Windows.
Possible cause: The test program was started while the
ISDN-Controller driver software (CAPI) was loaded.
Remedy: Run the program M1 Unload in the AVM
program group and then start the test program again.
6.3.3 Error Messages in Windows 95/98
Interrupt <xx> not usable
Controller <xx> with I/O address <xxx> does not respond
Possible cause: Defective hardware or corrupt installa-
tion files.
Remedy: Remove the Controller software and repeat
the installation procedure. Instructions can be found in
Chapter 3, “Driver Software Installation”, Section 3.3.5
or 3.4.5.
... at least one application/user task is registered.
Possible cause: You tried to unload or uninstall the AVM
Mobile ISDN-Controller M1 while an application (such
as a file transfer or fax program) was still using it.
Remedy: First close all applications that use the Mobile
ISDN-Controller M1. Then you can unload or uninstall
it.
CAPI not loaded
Possible cause: You tried to start an ISDN application
without loading the AVM Mobile ISDN-Controller M1
first.
Remedy: Run the program Mobile M1 Load, then start
your ISDN application.
CAPI.DLL, CAPI20.DLL or CAPI2032.DLL not found
Possible cause: The DLL files have been renamed or
removed from the \Windows\System folder.
Remedy: Remove the Controller software and repeat the
installation procedure to restore the missing files. For
instructions see Chapter 3, “Driver Software Installation”,
Section 3.3.5 or 3.4.5.
