6 Possible Errors and Remedies – Windows 3.x
you may choose to load the AVM Mobile ISDN-Control-
ler M1 without using Card and Socket Services. If you
do, see the configuration restrictions in Chapter 3,
“Driver Software Installation”, Section 3.1.2 (DOS) or
3.2.2 (Windows 3.x).
6.3.2 Error Messages in Windows 3.x
Controller-xx with I/O address <xxx> not found
Possible cause: You tried to initialize the AVM Mobile
ISDN-Controller M1 without Card and Socket Services,
and in the configuration program M1 Setup you entered
an I/O address other than 150.
Remedy: Please note that the AVM Mobile ISDN-
Controller M1 is configured only to I/O address 150 and
IRQ 5 when used without Card and Socket Services. Run
the program M1 Setup and set the I/O address to 150.
Then restart your computer and Windows.
Installation Error. Interrupt <xx> not available.
Possible cause: You tried to initialize the AVM Mobile
ISDN-Controller M1 without Card and Socket Services,
and in the configuration program M1 Setup you entered
an I/O address other than 150.
Remedy: Please note that the AVM Mobile ISDN-
Controller M1 is configured only to I/O address 150 and
IRQ 5 when used without Card and Socket Services. Run
the program M1 Setup and set the interrupt level (IRQ)
to 5. Then restart your computer and Windows.
Installation error. Internal error: ISDN driver not loaded.
Possible cause: The driver file MPCMBASE.386 has
been moved or deleted, or the SYSTEM.INI file no longer
contains the corresponding entry.
Remedy: Run the installation program SETUP.EXE on
your original CD-ROM or installation disk.
