6 Possible Errors and Remedies – MS-DOS

Card Services Release 2.10 or later required.
The Card Services version installed in your computer is
outdated. Contact your dealer to obtain Card Services in
Version 2.10 or later.
No Card Service client installed (PCENABLE, CSALLOC,
PCMSCD ... ).
There is no Card Service client installed in your computer.
Contact your dealer.
No AVM ISDN-Controller found.
Either you have forgotten to insert the AVM Mobile
ISDN-Controller M1 in the PCMCIA slot, or it is not
inserted correctly. Insert the card firmly and try again.
No free interrupt for slot x.
All possible interrupt levels are already in use by other
hardware components. Remove another PCMCIA adapter
and try again.
No free port for slot x.
All possible I/O addresses are already being used by
other hardware components. Remove another PCMCIA
adapter and try again.
Faulty Connections
Errors which occur during the connection may be re-
ported by your application program. The driver software
can only verify that the AVM Mobile ISDN-Controller
M1 is operating correctly, and does not display error
messages for disturbances of other kinds.
In order to function correctly, the Controller must be
properly connected to a GSM cellphone. Errors that
occur during dialing or during a connection are often due
to a loose or disconnected cable. Connect the cable
correctly.
