6.3 Error Messages
6.3.1 Error Messages in DOS
Controller-xx with I/O address <xxx> not found
Possible cause: You tried to initialize the AVM Mobile
ISDN-Controller M1 without Card and Socket Services,
and in the configuration program M1PCMSET.EXE was
entered an I/O address other than 150.
Remedy: Please note that the AVM Mobile ISDN-
Controller M1 is configured only to I/O address 150 and
IRQ 5 when used without Card and Socket Services. Run
the program M1PCMSET.EXE and set the
I/O address to 150. Then run IBASE.BAT to reload the
Controller.
Installation Error. Interrupt <xx> not available.
Possible cause: You tried to initialize the AVM Mobile
ISDN-Controller M1 without Card and Socket Services,
and in the configuration program M1PCMSET.EXE you
entered an I/O address other than 150.
Remedy: Please note that the AVM Mobile ISDN-
Controller M1 is configured only to I/O address 150 and
IRQ 5 when used without Card and Socket Services. Run
the program M1PCMSET.EXE and set the interrupt level
(IRQ) to 5. Then run IBASE.BAT to reload the Controller.
Card Services not installed.
Cause: PCMCIA Card Services are not installed in your
computer, and the loading program MENABLE.EXE was
run without the option “-h”. This option must be specified
to load the AVM Mobile ISDN-Controller M1 without
Card and Socket Services. In this case, the Controller is
configured to the I/O address 150 and the interrupt level
(IRQ) 5. Make sure these resources are not allocated to
other hardware components.
