3 Installation of the Driver Software – Windows NT

6. The Setup program’s sign-on window appears. To
read the Readme file with the latest information on
the Controller and the installation procedure, click
View AVM readme now.
To proceed with the installation, click Continue.
You can abort the installation at any time by clicking
the Cancel button.
7. In the next dialog, the option “Add a new Controller”
is selected by default if no Controller is currently
installed. Confirm it by clicking Continue.
8. Enter the name of the folder in which you want to
install the ISDN-Controller software. The default is
C:\IDRIVER. You may confirm this or enter any other
directory name.
When your entry is complete, confirm by clicking
Continue.
9. Next, select the GSM mobile telephone model you
want to use with the Controller, and click Continue.
10. In the next dialog, select the desired I/O address
range and the interrupt for the Controller. The Setup
program suggests available resources. Confirm
these settings by clicking Continue
.
Now the installation routine copies all files to the
specified drive and directory. When this has been
completed, a message box appears with information
about the Controller's configuration.
11. Acknowledge this message by clicking Continue.
12. Restart Windows NT to complete the installation.
You will now find a new folder named "AVM" under
"Programs" in the Windows NT Start menu. This folder
contains the shortcuts Mobile M1 Load, Mobile M1
Unload, Mobile M1 Help and Mobile M1 Setup.
This completes the driver software installation for the
AVM Mobile ISDN-Controller M1 in Windows NT. You
can begin working with the Controller immediately.
