To return to the previous dialog, click the Go back
button.
7. Click Continue.
8. The next dialog asks whether you want the AVM
Mobile ISDN-Controller M1 to be added to the
Startup group.
If you select Yes, the AVM Mobile ISDN-Control-
ler M1 will be loaded automatically each time
Windows is started.
Now the installation program copies all files to the
specified drive and directory. A new Program Mana-
ger group is created with the name AVM. This group
contains the icons M1 Load, M1 Unload, M1
Help, M1 Test and M1 Setup.
9. You may now proceed to the next section to begin
working with your AVM Mobile ISDN-Controller
M1.
3.2.2 Loading the Driver Software
You may load the AVM Mobile ISDN-Controller M1
with or without using PCMCIA Card and Socket Services.
Please note that an Intel-compatible PC Card Interface
Controller (PCIC) is required to operate the
AVM Mobile
ISDN-Controller M1
without Card and Socket Services. In
addition, the I/O address 150h and the interrupt level IRQ
5 must be available for the AVM Mobile ISDN-Controller
M1
.
Make sure no other hardware components are using
these resources.
To activate the AVM Mobile ISDN-Controller M1 after
completing the software installation, proceed as follows:
1. Insert the Controller in the PCMCIA slot.
2. Restart the computer.
The driver software setup program has added the
command
menable –h
