3. Double-click the entry AVM ISDN-Controller C4 to open
the “Properties” window.
4. On the “ISDN” page, select the desired D-channel pro-
tocol and then click “Configure...” to change the MSNs.

Interface” page, set the line type for each S

interface on the Controller (multi-terminal, PBX exten-
sion or permanent connection).
3.3 Installing Additional ISDN-Controllers
If you would like to add another AVM ISDN-Controller C4, re-
peat the entire installation procedure above. Begin by instal-
ling the hardware. Then switch on the computer. The Add
New Hardware Wizard recognizes the new device. Follow the
instructions on the screen.
Active AVM ISDN-Controllers for the ISA and PCI buses may
also be combined in one computer. In this case, install the
additional controller card as described in its manual, using
the installation program on the original disk or CD supplied
with it.
When multiple ISDN-Controllers are installed, the NDIS WAN
CAPI Driver can be used only on the ISDN-Controller which
was installed first.
3.4 Removing the Controller C4
To remove the AVM ISDN-Controller C4 from Windows 2000,
proceed as follows:
1. Open the Windows 2000 Control Panel (“Start” menu,
“Settings”) and double-click the “Hardware” icon.
2. The Add/Remove Hardware Wizard is started. Click
“Next”.
3. In the subsequent dialog, select the option “Unin-
stall/Unplug a device” and click “Next”.
4. Then select the first option, “Uninstall a device”. Con-
firm by clicking “Next”.
