The CAPI4Linux software package consists of:
 CAPI 2.0 driver
 a CAPI plug-in: an adaptation (CAPI plug-in) of the “Ge-
neric PPP” stack (pppd = Point-to-Point Daemon) to al-
low the use of Internet applications like web browsers
and FTP clients
 CAPI 2.0 interface for the popular Fax G3 application
“HylaFAX” (CAPI4HylaFAX)
 AVM Software Development Kit (SDK): a tool and
resources for developing CAPI 2.0-compatible applica-
tions
For more information about the CAPI plug-in for the Generic
PPP stack (pppd), see the INSTALL_ACTIVE-E.HTML file
(SUSE 8.0 or higher) or the INSTALL_ACTIVE.EN file (up to
SUSE 8.0) and the relevant Unix manual page after extract-
ing the archive. Open this manual page by entering man
capiplugin at the system console.
Documentation on the supplementary components of the
CAPI4Linux package like CAPI4HylaFAX and the AVM Soft-
ware Development Kit (SDK) are located as README files in
the corresponding tar archives on the installation CD.
