8. Press “Esc” to close the display.
9. Press “Esc” as often as necessary to close all sub-
menus and return to the “Configuration Options”
menu.
10. Select “Exit” to leave the installation program.

start operation and configure the ISDN-Controller with
Stand-Alone CAPI.
To use the CAPI Manager, read further under “Operation of
the ISDN-Controller B1 PCI v4.0 with CAPI for the CAPI Man-
ager” on page 46.
10.2 Configuring the ISDN-Controller B1 PCI v4.0
with Stand-Alone CAPI
To configure the ISDN-Controller B1 PCI v4.0 with Stand-
Alone CAPI, enter at the system console:
load b1setup
A list of available ISDN-Controllers with their I/O addresses,
interrupts and D-channel protocols appears. Use the cursor
keys to select the ISDN-Controller to be configured from this
list and then press “Return”.
The configuration window for the ISDN-Controller
B1 PCI v4.0 appears. Here you can perform the settings for
the D-channel protocol, the Point-to-Point protocol (Direct
Dial-In) and automatic data compression. Move the selec-
tion to the entry desired and press “Return”. Select the de-
sired setting from the overview displayed or type the new
value in the activated input field.

section “CAPI SoftCompression X75/V42bis” from page 71.
Exit the configuration by pressing “Esc”. Answer “Yes” to
save your settings.
The ISDN-Controller B1 PCI v4.0 settings can be changed at
any time using this method.
