from the “AVM” program group and change the interrupt set-

Error Messages in Windows 3.x
Error message: “Controller-xx with I/O address <xxx> not
found.”
Solution: Insert the controller A1 PCMCIA into the PCMCIA
slot and restart your computer.
Error message: “Error in the configuration file. Incorrect A1
card type.”
Possible cause: You attempted to install another passive or
an active controller (e.g. B1 PCMCIA) in the same system as
your (passive) AVM ISDN-Controller A1 PCMCIA.
Solution: Simultaneous operation of multiple passive ISDN-
Controllers or simultaneous operation of active and passive
ISDN-Controllers is not possible.
Error message: “Interrupt <xx> not available.”
Possible cause: The AVM ISDN-Controller A1 PCMCIA and an-
other hardware component (e.g. sound card) are set to the
same interrupt.
Solution: Check which interrupts (IRQ) are available in your
computer, for example using the MSD.EXE program (Win-
dows directory). Then start the “A1 PCMCIA Setup” program
from the “AVM” program group and set another interrupt for
the controller A1 PCMCIA. Windows must be restarted in or-
der to implement configuration changes.
