Controller A1 PCMCIA – 10 Troubleshooting 49
No line charge information is displayed.
The AVM ISDN-Controller A1 PCMCIA drivers provide for the
display of telephone charges incurred by CAPI-based appli-
cations. This feature is only available if the transmission of
charge information during a connection has been enabled by
your ISDN service provider. This presently has to be under-
taken individually for each B-channel (subject to fee).
10.2 Error Messages
Error Messages in Windows 2000
Problem when re-installing a AVM IDSN-Controller (Code
10/22 as entry in the Device Manager)
Cause: The ISDN-Controller has been removed from the PC
but not fully uninstalled.
Solution: Uninstall all AVM ISDN-Controllers, as is described
in the chapter “Uninstalling the Controller A1 PCMCIA” on
page 16. Remember to activate the “Show hidden devices”
checkbox.
Upgrading from Windows NT 4.0 to Windows 2000
Before you upgrade your PC from Windows NT 4.0 to Win-
dows 2000, the ISDN-Controller must be uninstalled and re-
moved. Once the PC has been updated, the ISDN-Controller
is fitted again, installed and configured as described.
