7.4 Changing the Settings
After installation is concluded, you can make changes to the
controller A1 PCMCIA settings.
Changing the Interrupt
Use the “A1 PCMCIA Setup” program from the “AVM” pro-
gram group to change the controller's interrupt. Then restart
your computer to implement any changes made here.
Changing the D-channel Protocol and
Automatic Data Compression
To change the D-channel protocol and to activate or deacti-
vate the automatic data compression function in accordance
with standard V.42bis, again run the SETUP.EXE setup pro-
gram and change the settings as desired. Then restart your
computer to implement any changes made here.
US only: Changing SPID or Directory No. after
Installation
Has your SPID or ISDN directory number changed? To change
the ISDN directory number or the SPID for the AVM ISDN-Con-
troller A1, run the installation program again and enter the
new number and SPID.
7.5 Uninstalling the Controller A1 PCMCIA
To uninstall the AVM ISDN-Controller A1 PCMCIA driver soft-
ware, call up the setup program from the installation CD.
The setup returns the message that an installed controller
was found. Activate the “Uninstallation” option and follow
the instructions on the screen. After uninstallation is com-
plete, remember to delete the “a1enable.exe” program entry
from the AUTOEXEC.BAT file.
