3. The Windows 95 Update Device Driver Wizard an-
nounces that an AVM ISDN-Controller is being installed.
A window appears recommending that you have Win-
dows search for an updated driver. Click “Next”.
4. The next window announces that no drivers were found.
Insert the installation CD into your CD-ROM drive. Click
the “Other Locations” button.
5. Enter the path to your CD-ROM drive and the directory
containing the setup program for Windows 95:
<CD-ROM-Laufwerk>:\cardware\a1.pcm\
windows.95\<language>
Click on “OK” and then “Continue”.
6. The message “Insert the diskette labeled ‘A1 PCMCIA In-
stallation Windows 95‘ appears”. Ignore this message
and click “OK”.
7. Th e “Copying files” window appears, followed by the er-
ror message: “The file ‘apcmbase.inf‘ could not be
found on AVM ISDN-Controller A1 PCMCIA Installation
Windows 95.”.
Click “Browse” and enter the path to the installation
files again.
8. Click “OK”. Now the files will be copied.
9. You will then be asked to reboot the computer to per-
manently set up the hardware.
5.2 Installing the Driver Software
1. Once you have installed the new hardware component,
the setup program’s sign-on window appears. From this
window, you can call up the “Readme” file for the con-
troller A1 PCMCIA. Click “Continue”.
Press the “F1” key to display a Help text on any instal-
lation step.
