3.3 Uninstalling the Controller A1 PCMCIA
To uninstall the AVM ISDN-Controller A1 PCMCIA from Win-
dows 2000, proceed as follows:
1. Use “Start / Settings / Control Panel / Add/Remove
Hardware” to start the Add/Remove Hardware Wizard.
To start the uninstallation process, click “Next”.
2. Select the “Uninstall/Unplug a device” option and click
“Next”.
3. Then select “Uninstall a device” and confirm with
“Next”.
4. In the following window, activate the “Show hidden de-
vices” checkbox. Highlight the “AVM ISDN-Controller
FRITZ!Card-PCMCIA” entry in this list and confirm with
“Next”.
The AVM NDIS WAN CAPI driver does not have to be se-
lected as it is automatically removed together with the
ISDN-Controller.
5. Confirm the security question by selecting the option
"Yes, I want to uninstall this device" and click “Next”.
6. Complete uninstallation by clicking “Finish”.
The AVM ISDN-Controller A1 PCMCIA is therefore uninstalled.
