3.3 Uninstalling the Controller A1 PCMCIA
To uninstall the AVM ISDN-Controller A1 PCMCIA from Win-
dows 2000, proceed as follows:
1. Use Start / Settings / Control Panel / Add/Remove
Hardware to start the Add/Remove Hardware Wizard.
To start the uninstallation process, click Next.
2. Select the Uninstall/Unplug a device option and click
Next.
3. Then select Uninstall a device and confirm with
Next.
4. In the following window, activate the Show hidden de-
vices checkbox. Highlight the AVM ISDN-Controller
FRITZ!Card-PCMCIA entry in this list and confirm with
Next.
The AVM NDIS WAN CAPI driver does not have to be se-
lected as it is automatically removed together with the
ISDN-Controller.
5. Confirm the security question by selecting the option
"Yes, I want to uninstall this device" and click Next.
6. Complete uninstallation by clicking Finish.
The AVM ISDN-Controller A1 PCMCIA is therefore uninstalled.
