10 Controller A1 PCMCIA – 1 Introduction
1.3 System Requirements
The following hardware and software requirements must be
satisfied if the AVM ISDN-Controller A1 PCMCIA is to be used:
l Computer with PCMCIA slot, type II or III
l Operating system: Windows 2000, Windows 98, Win-
dows 95, Windows NT or Windows 3.x
l CD-ROM drive for installing the driver software
1.4 Package Contents
The package contains:
l AVM ISDN-Controller A1 PCMCIA
l 1 cable to connect the ISDN-Controller to the ISDN net-
work (4 m)
l AVM ISDN-Controller A1 PCMCIA manual
l AVM ISDN-Tools manual
l CD-ROM “AVM ISDN-Controller A” with all setup pro-
grams and AVM ISDN-Tools
The CD-ROM includes:
l driver software for Windows 98, Windows 95, Windows
NT and Windows 3.x
l configuration and test software
l AVM system driver
– AVM ISDN CAPI port driver
– AVM NDIS WAN CAPI driver
– AVM ISDN TAPI services for CAPI
l AVM ISDN-Tools
The AVM ISDN-Tools are a collection of ISDN application
programs. This collection includes, for example, the
“Connect32” program for simple data transfer on the
ISDN network. For installation and operation instruc-
tions, please refer to the manual supplied.
