To allow CGI scripts to be executed on the user interface:
1. Select “Tools / Internet Options... / Security”.
If the “Default Level” button is not available for selec-
tion, the “Medium” security level is already configured,
which means that CGI scripts can be executed on the
user interface.
Proceed as follows if the “Default Level” button is avail-
able for selection:
2. Select the “Local Intranet” icon and click the “Sites...”
button.
3. In the next window, click the “Advanced...” button and
enter in the “Add this Web site to the zone:” field:
fritz.box
4. Disable the option “Require server verification (https:)
for all sites in this zone”.
Check Protection Software
Protection software like firewalls and security software can
block access to the FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN user interface. Set
exceptions for the FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN in all active protec-
tion software.
If you would like to exit protection software to test access to
the FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN, remove the DSL cable first! After
testing, first start the protection software before reinserting
the DSL cable and connecting to the Internet!
Restarting the FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN
Restart the FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN. Remove the mains cable
from the socket. Wait five seconds before reconnecting to
the power supply.
