The following information should be included in your fax to
the Support team:
z Your name and address.
z An e-mail address or fax number at which you can be
reached.
z the serial number of the FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN
The serial number is printed on the sticker attached to
the base of the device. Support staff will always check
this number to ensure that you are a registered user.
z Which operating system do you use? For instance, Win-
dows XP or Windows 98?
z How is the FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN connected to your com-
puter, with a network cable or via WLAN?
z At what step of the installation or in which application
does an error occur or an error message appear? What
is the exact wording of any error message returned?
z Which firmware does FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN use? The
firmware version is displayed on the “Overview” page
of the FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN user interface.
Once you have gathered this information, please fax it to
AVM Support. The Support team will assist you in resolving
your problem.
