No Network Device without Access Profile
• Network devices that log in to the home network for the
first time are automatically assigned the preconfigured
“Standard” access profile. As soon as a network device
is registered in the home network you can assign a dif-
ferent access profile.
• Network devices that log in to the FRITZ!Box guest net-
work are automatically assigned the “Guest” access
profile. This is the only access profile possible in the
guest network.
Preconfigured Access Profiles
In the FRITZ!Box there are four preconfigured access profiles
available for use: “Standard”, “Guest”, “Unrestricted”, and
“Blocked”.
The “Standard” Access Profile
Property Description
Limitations In the factory settings the “Stan-
dard” profile is allowed to do
everything. There are no restric-
tions on time or activity.
Changes The “Standard” profile can be
changed.
Automatic assignment Network devices that register with
the FRITZ!Box for the first time are
automatically assigned the “Stan-
dard” profile.
Assignment of unknown net-
work devices
Network devices registered with
the FRITZ!Box under “Home Net-
work / Home Network Overview /
Network Connections” using the
“Add Device” button can only be
assigned the “Standard” profile.
Another profile can be assigned af-
ter the devices have been physi-
cally connected.
