Group calls do not ring at extensions for which the feature
has been deactivated. Group calls can be enabled or dis-
abled for each extension individually.
6.11 Suspend/Resume
The “Suspend/Resume” feature (also known as “Terminal
Portability” or TP) allows you to suspend a call and resume it
from another terminal device connected to your ISDN line
alongside FRITZ!X PC.
To suspend a call, proceed as follows:
You will hear an acknowledgment signal to indicate that the
call has been successfully suspended. If you hear the failure
signal, this may indicate that you made a mistake, or that the
Suspend/Resume feature is disabled, or that the Parked Call
ID you chose may already be in use.
To resume the connection, proceed as follows:

You are talking on an active connection.
R
Press the Hold button. The call is on hold.

Dial the sequence shown to the left, using any
number between 0 and 99 as the Parked Call ID
(ID). You will need to enter this ID again when you
resume the call.
O
After the acknowledgment tone you can hang up
the handset without clearing down the connec-
tion. The call remains suspended at the ISDN pro-
vider’s local switch for two minutes.

Pick up the handset again. (You must not ha-
ve a call on hold. Otherwise, FRITZ!X PC will
attempt to suspend it.)

ID s Dial the sequence shown at left. Use the Par-
ked call ID (ID) that you entered when you
suspended the call.
