5.9 Factory Settings
Before the configuration of FRITZ!X PC is adjusted by the us-
er, it uses the original configuration set at the factory.
For details on the factory settings, please see the section
“Factory Settings” on page 38.
FRITZ!X PC can be reset to its factory settings at any time by
clicking the “Factory Settings” button in the Settings dialog,
and then clicking “Yes” at the safety prompt. FRITZ!X PC is
then reset to its original configuration, and the factory set-
tings are also loaded in the FRITZ!X configuration program.
This operation may take several seconds.
Restoring the factory settings deletes all your personal con-
figuration settings, both in FRITZ!X PC and in the FRITZ!X
configuration program! This operation cannot be reversed!
