Transmitting New Settings to FRITZ!X PC
FRITZ!X PC – 5 FRITZ!X PC Configuration 39
In the FRITZ!X window, select “Settings” in the “File” menu.
The “FRITZ!X Settings” dialog appears with five pages on
which you can set the configuration options. The options on
the various dialog pages are described in the following sec-
tions.
Transmitting New Settings to FRITZ!X PC
In order for the settings you have changed to take effect, you
must transmit them to your FRITZ!X PC by clicking the “Trans-
mit” button.
Please note that you must click the “Transmit” button after
making changes on any dialog page in order to save the new
settings in your FRITZ!X PC. (The “General” page in the “Set-
tings” dialog is an exception: the settings on this page are
only used by the FRITZ!X program and are not stored in the
ISDN-Connector.)
Loading the Current Settings
To load the currently active settings from FRITZ!X PC into the
configuration program, click the “Load” button. This may be
necessary if you have changed settings in the configuration
program, but do not want to save your changes. The options
shown in the “Settings” dialog then reflect the active set-
tings.
Please note that loading the current settings from the ISDN-
Connector deletes any changes you may have made in the
configuration program’s “Settings” dialog!
5.4 The ‘MSNs’ Settings Page
On theMSNsdialog page, your ISDN line’s individual dial-
in numbers can be assigned to the specific FRITZ!X PC exten-
sions. On this page you can also activate or deactivate vari-
ous ISDN features for each extension.
FRITZ!X PC can save up to three dial-in numbers for each ex-
tension. When an external subscriber dials one of these
numbers, all terminal devices connected to the correspond-
ing extension line ring.
