FRITZ!fax lets you use your PC to receive faxes, send faxes,
and poll fax servers. When you poll a fax server, you call a re-
mote fax machine using FRITZ!fax, but receive a fax over the
connection you dialed rather than sending one. Incoming
faxes can be forwarded by e-mail as attachments.
In order to send and receive faxes, FRITZ!fax must be started.
FRITZ!fax also includes a Journal in which all incoming and
outgoing faxes are recorded. The Journal allows you to view,
forward, print and archive your faxes.
5.1 Test Fax
Perform the following test to check the installation of
FRITZ!fax.
On the Settings / ISDN / Incoming fax call acceptance

fax tone in your telephone handset, then FRITZ!fax is
ready to receive incoming faxes.

coming fax call acceptance.
Compose a short test fax and send it to your telephone
number. When your telephone rings, pick up the handset.
