On the following page, click on the icon ISDN-Controller
FRITZ!Card and then on the following page, click on the Start
installation icon.
After completion of initialization, the welcome screen for in-
stallation appears. Click on Next. You can quit the installa-
tion procedure at any time by means of the Exit button.
In the next window, specify the folder in which you wish to
install the FRITZ!Card software. The default is C:\IDRIVER.
You may also specify a different folder. If the information
you have given is correct, click on Next.
Now specify which D channel protocol is used on your ISDN
connection (1TR6 or DSS1 (EURO-ISDN)). Click on the desired
option. Click on the Next button.
In the next window, you must specify the I/O area (I/O ad-
dress) under which the controller is to be managed in the
system. Specify the area which corresponds to the jumper
position on the controller.
Then in the next window, specify the interrupt for the con-
troller.
The installation program will now copy all files to the speci-
fied folder. In the last window of the installation procedure
you will see details about the I/O area and interrupt under
which FRITZ!Card is managed in the system and about the
D channel protocol used. Confirm these details with OK.
The Windows system environment includes a new program
folder called AVM. This contains the files FRITZ!Card
Readme, FRITZ!Card Setup, FRITZ!Card Test and AVM
Internet Home Page (link to the AVM pages on the Internet,
requirement: WWW browser and Internet access).
FRITZ!Card Readme contains up-to-date information on FRITZ!Card.
You can reselect the D channel protocol afterwards using the
FRITZ!Card Setup program and activate CAPI SoftCompression X75/
V42bis. The FRITZ!Card Test program checks the functional integrity
of FRITZ!Card.
