You may also specify a different folder. If the information
you have given is correct, click on Next.
Now in the next window, specify which D channel protocol in
used on your ISDN connection (1TR6 or DSS1). Click on the
desired protocol type and then on Next.
The installation program will now copy all files to the speci-
fied folder. The driver is entered in the Registry so that
FRITZ!Card is activated automatically when Windows 95 is
started. When you exit Windows 95, FRITZ!Card is automati-
cally deactivated.
In the last window of the installation procedure you will see
details about the I/O area (I/O address) and interrupt under
which FRITZ!Card is managed in the system and about the
D channel protocol used. Confirm these details with OK.
After successful completion of the installation program, you
are requested to restart Windows 95. Confirm this request
by clicking on OK.
After restarting Windows 95, the menu item “Programs” in
the Start menu contains a new folder called AVM. This con-
tains the files FRITZ!Card Readme, FRITZ!Card Setup,
FRITZ!Card Test and AVM Internet Home Page (link to the
AVM pages on the Internet, requirement: WWW browser and
Internet access).
FRITZ!Card Readme contains up-to-date information on FRITZ!Card.
You can reselect the D channel protocol afterwards using the
FRITZ!Card Setup program and activate CAPI SoftCompression X75/
V42bis. The FRITZ!Card Test program checks the functional integrity
of FRITZ!Card.
The installation of FRITZ!Card for Windows 95 is now completed.
