the “Overview of Devices”.
Disabling the USB Remote Connection
Perform the following steps to disable the USB remote
connection:
1. Open a web browser on the computer for which the
USB remote connection is to be disabled.
2. Enter fritz.box
in the address line of the browser.
3. Enable the expert view of the FRITZ!Box in the “Sys-
tem / Expert Mode” menu. Confirm by clicking “Ap-
ply”.
4. Open the “Home Network / USB Devices” menu.
5. Select the “USB Remote Connection” page.
6. Disable all types of USB devices.
7. As a final step, click “Apply”.
The result of the changed USB settings can be viewed in
the “Overview of Devices”.

The FRITZ!WLAN USB Stick N and the FRITZ!WLAN USB
Stick are WLAN adapters manufactured by AVM for con-
nection to a computer. Using a WLAN adapter you can con-
nect the computer wirelessly with the FRITZ!Box.

The FRITZ!WLAN USB Stick N supports all WLAN features of
your FRITZ!Box.
 the WLAN standards IEEE 802.11 n+g+b in the 2.4-
GHz frequency band, and alternatively
 the WLAN standards IEEE 802.11 n+a in the 5-GHz
frequency band.
