Setting the Right WLAN Standard in the FRITZ!Box

 In order to communicate with each other, the
FRITZ!Box and all WLAN adapters must work in the
same frequency band.
 The standards you configure in the FRITZ!Box must be
compatible with te standards of all WLAN adapters
used in the wireless network.
Make a note of which standards the WLAN adapters in
your network are compatible with and then adjust the
FRITZ!Box settings according to the following information:
 Your radio network integrates only WLAN adapters
that are compatible with one or both of the following
standards:
– 802.11n
– 802.11g
Set the following mode in the FRITZ!Box:
Mode: 802.11n+g
The 2.4-GHz frequency band will be used.
 Your radio network integrates only WLAN adapters
that are compatible with one or both of the following
standards:
– 802.11b
– 802.11g
Set the following mode in the FRITZ!Box:
Mode: 802.11b+g
The 2.4-GHz frequency band will be used.
 Your radio network integrates only WLAN adapters
that are compatible with one or both of the following
standards:
– 802.11n
– 802.11g
– 802.11b
