WLAN Connection Settings in Windows XP
1. In the “Network Connections” window, select the entry
“Wireless Network Connection” and select the “Proper-
ties” command from the context menu.

The “Wireless Network Connection Properties” window
opens.
2. Make sure that the setting “Use Windows to configure
settings” is enabled on the “Wireless Networks” set-
tings page.
3. In the “Preferred networks” area, select from the list the
entry “FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN” and click the “Properties”
button. The “FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN properties” window
opens.
4. On the “Association” settings page, the settings must
match those in the following illustration:
