7.1 Errors Opening the User Interface
LAN and USB Connections
You have connected FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN to a computer us-
ing a LAN or USB port and the IP settings in FRITZ!Box Fon
WLAN comply with the prescribed factory settings. Yet when
you attempt to open the user interface, you receive an error
message.
Check the following:
z Make sure that all cable connections are plugged in se-
curely.
z The IP addresses of the connected computers must be as-
signed automatically (see “IP Settings” from page 66).
z In the Internet browser, enter one of the following IP ad-
dresses in the place of “fritz.box”:
– 192.168.178.1
– 192.168.179.1
– 192.168.182.1
z No Internet connection may be established via
FRITZ!web DSL.
