With a fully configured FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN you can receive
telephone calls as follows:
z on your fixed-line number from the fixed-line network
z on your fixed-line number from the Internet
z on your Internet number from the Internet

Bandwidth Management with FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN
FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN is equipped with integrated bandwidth
management. This function controls all incoming and outgo-
ing data traffic over DSL and ensures that telephone connec-
tions over the Internet are not affected by surfing. FRITZ!Box
Fon WLAN performs this task by adapting all uploads and
downloads to the remaining bandwidth available, thus main-
taining a constant bandwidth for Internet telephone calls to
ensure high transmission quality. Because FRITZ!Box Fon
WLAN also places a higher priority on Internet telephony con-
nections over normal Internet connections, unwelcome inter-
ference is largely avoided. However, this is also true for Inter-
net telephony: once the conversation capacity has been
reached, the remote site will receive a busy signal.
