Error Messages in Novell NetWare
ISDN-Controller B1 PCI v4.0 – 14 Troubleshooting 79
Error message: “Installation error, Controller-xx with I/O
address <xxx> does not answer.”
Possible cause: The ISDN-Controller was not fully loaded or
the hardware is damaged.
Remedy: Repeat the complete installation of the ISDN-Con-
troller. To test the hardware, you may install the ISDN Con-
troller in DOS and then run the program “B1 Test”. In case of
a hardware defect, please contact your dealer or AVM.
Error message: “... at least one application is registered.”
Possible cause: You tried to unload or uninstall the AVM
ISDN-Controller B1 PCI v4.0 while an application (such as a
terminal or fax program) was still using it.
Remedy: First end all applications that use the ISDN-Control-
ler. Then you can unload or uninstall it.
