Automatic Call Acceptance
When the “Automatic Call Acceptance” option is enabled,
Alice accepts incoming video calls automatically. The con-
nection to the remote site is established automatically. To
protect your system from unwanted calls, you can define a
PIN here that must be entered by the remote site in order to
connect to your line.
Manual Call Acceptance
When a call arrives, you must click the “Connect” button to
accept it.
3.3 The Phone Book
The following explains how to enter new numbers, IP ad-
dresses or Internet URLs in the Phone Book and how to de-
lete existing entries.
Adding a Phone Book Entry
Proceed as follows:
1. Set the cursor in the status window and enter the fol-
lowing information, separated by commas or semico-
lons. Make sure to enter your information in the order
specified here:
–
Name of the remote site
– 1st Phone Number or the IP address or URL of the re-
mote site
– 2nd Phone Number (optional, for remote sites in the
USA which have a distinct number for each B channel)
