4. In the “Protocol” field, select the entry “HP Jet Direct -
Socket”.
5. Enter in the “Address” field the IP address of the
FRITZ!Box Fon:

6. Leave the “Queue” field empty.
7. Enter the desired values in the “Name” and “Location”
fields.
8. Enter a driver compatible with your printer in the “Print
Using” field.
9. Click the “Add” button to save your settings.
If the printer cannot be selected, try selecting a compatible
printer or printer driver instead.

5.4 USB Hub
A USB hub can be connected to the USB host controller. A
USB hub is a device to extend existing USB ports.
You can connect two USB mass storage devices and one USB
printer, or three USB mass storage devices (like a hard drive
or memory stick) to the USB hub.
If more than one USB device without its own power supply is
connected to the FRITZ!Box Fon, please note that, in accor-
dance with the USB specification, the total current consump-
tion may not exceed a value of 500 mA.
