Connecting to Electrical Power
Overview
Connect the FRITZ!Box to the power supply.
Rules
• Avoid using socket strips and extension cords if at all possible.
• If it is not possible to avoid using socket strips and extension
cords, then do not connect multiple extension cords or socket
strips to each other.
• Use only the power adapter included with delivery.
Instructions: Plugging In to Electric Power
1. Remove the power adapter from the FRITZ!Box package.
2. Connect the power adapter to the socket on the labeled “Power”.

3. Plug the other end into a power outlet.
The “Power/DSL” LED begins flashing after a few seconds to indicate
that the FRITZ!Box is ready for operation.
