Extending a Wireless LAN Network
Here is how to use FRITZ!Powerline 546E as a WLAN repeater.
1. Start a web browser and enter
fritz.powerline in the address line. The
FRITZ!Powerline546E user interface opens.
2. Open System/Operating Mode and click Change Operating Mode.
3. Select WLAN Bridge and click Next. A Wizard starts to guide you through the
confi guration process.
4. Click Finish.
5. If FRITZ!Powerline546E is connected with your router via a powerline or LAN
connection, clear this connection.
FRITZ!Powerline540E may be connected with your router
either with a LAN cable
or wirelessly.
6. Connect your wireless LAN and network devices with FRITZ!Powerline546E.
