Buttons and LAN Interface
A LAN port and the Security button are on the underside of FRITZ!Powerline510E.
LAN The LAN port is for connecting computers and network devices
(see page 20).
Security The Security button is for integrating the FRITZ!Powerline510E adapter
into an existing powerline network (see page 22).
FRITZ!Powerline Adapter: Status Display
The FRITZ!Powerline adapter LEDs indicate the following:
on FRITZ!Powerline has electrical power
fl ashes FRITZ!Powerline is restarting or confi guring
security settings
fl ashing (every
15seconds)
FRITZ!Powerline is on standby
off FRITZ!Powerline has no electrical power
on FRITZ!Powerline is connected with the powerline
network and sending or receiving data
off FRITZ!Powerline did not detect any compatible
powerline devices or any devices that use the
same network key
on the LAN port is in use
off no LAN cable is connected or the device on the
LAN cable is switched off
